Last Sunday, February 1st, I had the absolute joy of sitting front row at Front Row at Flamingo Boulevard, a bridal fashion show hosted at cool wedding venue Scale in Liverpool. It was a whole moment.
If you’re currently fangirling Flamingo Boulevard Bridal Studio, you’re in very good company. Their brides are cool, fashion-forward, modern and not afraid to make a statement. Exactly the kind of energy I adore working with for wedding hair and makeup in Liverpool.
So let’s get into it.
Flamingo Boulevard Bridal Studio: Modern Bridal, But Make It Fashion
Flamingo Boulevard Bridal Studio has built a reputation in Liverpool for doing bridal differently. Think editorial. Think sexy silhouettes. Think modern chic with personality.
The first half of the show was all about:
- Long, figure-hugging gowns
- Modern separates
- Clean lines with serious attitude
It wasn’t traditional “princess bride” vibes. It was confident, contemporary and effortlessly cool.

The styling elevated everything. Hats by Tracy Miller Designs, veils by Rebecca Anne Designs, and shoes by Charlotte Mills pulled the looks together beautifully. Every detail felt intentional and directional, exactly what modern Liverpool brides are looking for right now.
The setting? Unreal.
Decor styling by Trashy Events and florals by Hello Flower Creative transformed Scale into a full fashion experience. It felt like the chicest and coolest Liverpool bridal experience.
The Minis Are Coming (And I’m Obsessed)
The second half of the show completely switched gears, and I loved every second of it.
Glitzy, sparkly, party-ready minis hit the runway and the vibe went from modern chic to full celebration mode. These are the dresses made for:
- Second looks
- Evening transformations
- Dancefloor entrances
- Day-to-night wedding transitions
And here’s where it gets exciting…
Day-to-night bridal styling is one of the biggest trends for 2026 and 2027 weddings in Liverpool. Brides are choosing a classic ceremony look, then changing into a mini for the party.
I offer a day-to-night touch-up and transformation service for my bridal clients. Whether that’s switching up the lip colour, adding shimmer, loosening waves, changing to a sleek ponytail, or dialling the glam all the way up for the evening. Seeing those minis on the runway just confirmed that this trend is here to stay.
If you’re planning a wedding at venues like Scale, Fabric, Hope Street Hotel, Invisible Wind Factory, Future Yard or anywhere with that cool city vibe, a second look is chef’s kiss.
Liverpool Wedding Hair and Makeup Talent on Show
I didn’t do the hair and makeup for this event – I was there to soak it all in (and cheer from the front row) – but the glam was gorgeous.
Hair was created by Danielle Marzouet, and makeup by Hanna Carson, and the models looked incredible. It’s always inspiring to see Liverpool wedding hair and makeup artists bringing their A-game in a fashion show setting.
As a Liverpool wedding makeup artist myself, events like this are such a reminder of how strong and creative our wedding industry is. There is so much talent in this city, and it’s such a supportive community.
Prosecco Pause & Scale Love
One of my favourite moments? The “Prosecco Pause” sponsored by Think Wines. A chilled glass of pink fizz delivered straight to my seat. Front row perks? Yes please!
Huge love to the team at Scale, who continuously champion the Liverpool wedding world. The space looked incredible and always feels effortlessly cool, the perfect backdrop for modern bridal fashion.

And speaking of Scale…
I cannot wait for our Wedding Night Market on February 19, 2026 at Scale and Fabric Studios. If you’re newly engaged and planning your Liverpool wedding, that is one date you absolutely want in your diary. Grab your tickets here!
