Brow lamination is the hottest beauty treatment of the moment. It is known to be a non-invasive and pain-free alternative to micro-blading brows. It also means that you don’t have to do your brows every morning! Brows frame your face and make such a difference to your overall look. It is important that they are in proportion to your features, but without dominating them. I offer vegan brow lamination Liverpool from my beauty room in Matt Cox Hair Salon in Childwall South Liverpool.

Who is brow lamination for?

Brow lamination is a fabulous treatment for anyone! Whether you have thin, sparse brows that you want to look thicker and fuller, or if you have thick unruly brows that you want to stay in perfect shape.

The treatment solves a number of problems including:

  • Thinning brows that occur with aging
  • Gaps in brows as a result of past overplucking or waxing
  • Unruly brows that don’t stay in place even when you brush them
  • Uneven brows
  • General lack of brow shape

What does brow lamination involve?

The treatment takes less than an hour. It starts with a consultation to where you tell me how you’d like your brows to look. I then assess your brow and face shape to create the perfect proportions for your brows. A fixing gel is applied to hold the brow hairs in the desired shape, and I confirm with you that you are happy with the shape. You then relax while I apply the lifting solution, followed by the neutralizer. Your brows are then tinted, and then conditioned with nourishing brow oil. The treatment is finished off with a brow wax to create the perfect shape.

How long does brow lamination last?

The results from your lamination last 6-8 weeks. I recommend that you repeat the treatment every 6 weeks to keep your brows looking their best shape possible. I would not recommend having the treatment any more frequently as it may dry out your brow hairs and cause damage.

How do I maintain my brow lamination?

For the first 24 hours after your treatment, you should avoid getting your brows wet, and not use saunas, steam rooms, or sunbeds. Following your lamination, you should brush your brows up each morning with the brush I provide you at the end of your treatment. I also highly recommend that you condition your lashes daily with my nourishing brow oil, available to purchase for only £5. Daily conditioning will keep your brows from drying out and help them stay in the healthiest condition possible.

Do I need a patch test for brow lamination?

You will need a patch test before having your first treatment, or if you haven’t had a brow lamination for 3 months or more. It may not be appropriate for you if you suffer from eczema, rosacea, sensitive skin, or have had reactions to previous treatments.

Is brow lamination vegan and cruelty-free?

Not all lamination products are vegan and cruelty-free, but rest assured that I use only vegan and cruelty-free beauty products by Pro-Browz and Kalentin UK.
