A few weeks ago I had the absolute pleasure of glamming up some lovely ladies for Rachel’s wedding at her Liverpool wedding venue – The Richmond Hotel in Hatton Garden! I first met Rachel in 2014 when I did wedding hair and makeup for her sister Charlotte at Hard Days Night Hotel. I was thrilled when she asked me to be her hair and makeup artist for her Liverpool City Centre Wedding! Wedding Hair and Makeup Trial
At Rachel’s wedding hair and makeup trial, she definitely wanted a plaited up-do for her hair. She has such beautiful, thick hair that I knew it would look incredible. We tried a couple of styles, but this double braid with intricate criss-crossing at the back was just perfect. I suggested adding some baby’s breath to really make the hair style look bridal and extra special for the wedding day.
Rachel doesn’t wear much makeup, and neither would I if I had such beautiful skin!!! We created a look that looked polished but not overdone, something that Rachel would feel comfortable in and that would last all day without the need to touch up. Rachel is a veterinary nurse, and animals are so special to her, so she was delighted that I used all cruelty-free makeup and vegan makeup brushes. You should see her gorgeous Staffy Leo! He is absolutely gorgeous!

Bridesmaids Hair and Makeup
Rachel wanted her bridesmaids to have a sleeker chignon style hair up. Both bridesmaids wanted a more dramatic bridesmaid makeup look to compliment their navy dresses.
It was wonderful doing hair and makeup for Rachel’s sister Charlotte again too! Since her wedding in 2014, I have done her makeup and hair a few times for other occasions, and I even did wedding hair and makeup for her best friend’s wedding at 30 James Street Hotel in Liverpool last year!
I love this smokey nude look on the bridesmaids! It complimented the dresses so well.
